What You Need to Know
Hikes are most dogs' favorite thing in the world, providing them so much fun, socialization, stress, relief, and great exercise!
Location
We take dogs to romp, play, and tucker out at the local open spaces and hiking trails. We return them home ready for a low-key evening with you.
Rates
1-Hour Hike:
- First dog: $35
- Each additional dog: $15
2-Hour Hike:
- First dog: $50
- Each additional dog: $35
Duration
We offer two daily hikes - morning and midday. We spend an entire hour (or two for the two-hour hike) out on the trails. We often stay out even longer if it's okay with you since it's so much fun.
We don't charge for pickup and drop-off. The time your dog will be out with us depends on how many other friends we will be picking up and dropping off, where we go for our hike, and how long it takes to drive everyone home.
Typically, if your dog goes on a one-hour hike with us, he or she will be out for about three hours and around four hours for a two-hour hike. We keep them comfortable and safe in our dog-friendly vehicles with fresh water, heat in winter, and AC in summer!
Group Size
Your dog will hike with an average of 3-5 carefully chosen friends.
Schedule
As noted above, we offer two daily hikes - morning and midday. We go early in the summer to avoid the heat as much as possible, and for midday hikes in the summer, we go up as high as we can in the foothills and mountains to stay cool. We hike near water and in shade as much as possible and carry water when necessary.
One-hour hikes are available every day.
Two-hour hikes are available any day if there are enough other two-hour hiking dogs scheduled (at least three). If not, a two-hour hike request will be changed to one hour. Please let us know if you would like your dog to go on a regular weekly two-hour hike. That helps us with scheduling.
Other Info
Please create an account on Time to Pet and request a FREE New Client Meeting at a day and time that works for you. We will either confirm that day and time or contact you to find another date and time that works for both our schedules. One of our wonderful team members will come meet with you to learn your dog's routine, see where bowls are kept (we replenish water after each hike) and learn about anything else we need to know. We can then begin our fun hikes with your happy dog(s)!
Hikes must be canceled by 7 p.m. on the night before, otherwise they'll be charged in full.
