Aarf House Assistant Manager
I've been with Aarf since May of 2021, and love my job more than anything! Over the years, I have done everything on the team, including client and Aarf House overnights, Aarf House shifts, dog hiking, client visits, and special services. Now that I am Assistant House Manager, I spend most of my time at the Aarf House with our absolutely amazing Abeni the House Manager. My favorite things to do include spending time with friends and family, reading, gaming, and spending time with my sweet cat, Kylee. Kylee is going on 16, and if you ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you she means the world to me.
My favorite things about working with Aarf are the bonds that I make with each and every animal and client! Watching an animal go from untrusting of you, to being thrilled to see you will forever be the best feeling in the world to me.
My main tasks include helping the House Manager Abeni with anything she needs, and helping to keep the Aarf house at its best. I handle all new clients coming into the Aarf House, as well as keep things stocked and at the ready. As I used to do client visits, I often train our new teammates on everything they need to know when they are caring for our wonderful clients. I manage the Aarf House on the weekends, though I also enjoy working throughout the week, too! I work mostly during the day, but also do a few overnights a week with the dogs at the Aarf House.
