Pet Care Specialist

Tell us a little about yourself: I have always had a passion for animals and love working with them whenever possible! I'm currently studying Veterinary Science and other aspects of Animal Care, and I love anything having to do with animals. In my free time, though, I love to get with friends and go on adventures. I love exploring and swimming, and I'm always excited to see what's new in the world!

What is your favorite part about working for Aarf?

I have 2— first I love how our team is like a family, and I love how well we all get along and work together. This team is absolutely amazing and I love every single person! Second– I love the amazing bond and connection I make with all the doggies and kitties, as well as their humans. Every single pet and pet owner is unique, and I love getting to know each and every one of them and understanding them!

Do you have a funny story to share?

I was once doing visits for a darling and very sweet kitty named Ruby, and after I had taken care of all her care duties, I was hanging out with her in her upstairs living room. We were playing with her toys and snuggling up together when all of a sudden I heard loud and very aggressive talking coming from one of the back rooms, and it scared me so bad! I took Ruby downstairs and then slowly went back upstairs and started to lightly Knock on the door. I had the impression Ruby's family was out of town- so I wanted to apologize if I had disturbed this person while I was taking care of Ruby. The voice was still angry and talking fast, and I began doubting it was a family member and started to think the worst. I remember my heart pounding when I opened the door... All to find that Ruby's humans accidentally left their radio on in their bathroom, and it was on some random podcast! I remember laughing so hard that day- even though moments before I was so scared! That visit was definitely a highlight in my stories to share.
